Two musicals, two very different productions as black comedy rock musical meets a ballroom blast under the glitterball!

Aylesbury Waterside Theatre is hosting two musicals based on iconic films over the coming months, and first up are greetings and salutations from the students of Westerberg High as Heathers The Musical* takes to the stage Tue 30 May – Sat 3 Jun. 30 minutes

Following two smash-hit West End seasons and winning the WhatsOnStage award for Best New Musical, Heathers The Musical, sees Veronica Sawyer join the beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers and her dreams of popularity may finally come true… but mysterious teen rebel JD, teaches her that it might kill to be a nobody, but it is murder being a somebody.

Strictly Come Dancing favourite Kevin Clifton and Dancing on Ice finalist and Coronation Street star Faye Brookes are gliding into Bucks from Mon 12 – Sat 17 Jun in Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical. Directed by Britain’s best-loved TV judge, Craig Revel Horwood and featuring iconic songs from the movie including Love Is In The Air and Time After Time, this feelgood ballroom sensation promises an unforgettable evening under the glitter ball.
