A Musical Extravaganza in Thame!
August 28, 2021Tring Park Social Distancing Walk
August 28, 2021There is enough festive fun to fill the biggest of grottos at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre this Christmas! The slapstick calamities kick off in November with multi-award-winning smash hit, The Play That Goes Wrong (Mon 22 – Sat 27 Nov). You’ll be left aching with laughter after watching The Cornley Drama Society putting on a 1920s murder mystery where everything that could go wrong… does!
Then the tradition that is a must for families – the Waterside’s annual sparkling pantomime returns. This year you’re invited to the ball as a cast including favourites Andy Collins and La Voix take to the stage in Cinderella (Fri 23 Dec 2019 – Sun 2 Jan 2022). If you haven’t yet experienced a panto at the venue, think laugh-a-minute fun, audience participation, stunning costumes, spine-tingling songs and non-stop action as this most favourite of fairy tales is brought to life right before your eyes.
There’s more! This year the festive offering is extended to the theatre’s intimate Second Space with a magical story of Santa’s Elves and the Shoemaker from Fri 17 – Thu 23 Dec. The Christmas story features original songs and energetic dancing and tells the tale of penniless shoemaker Mr Klopp, who needs his festive audience’s help to discover who is getting into his shoe shop and making the most splendid shoes.
