August 28, 2021Happiness is…. Scottish country dancing!
August 28, 2021A unique family occasion!
Celebrating 111 years since the first-ever climb in 1910, Kop is back with its ever-popular mix of hundreds of classic vehicles, trade stands, the Soapbox Challenge, children’s area, period funfair, live music, wide variety of culinary delights and the Red Lion beer tent! Kop is the single largest charity event in the county, having raised some £770,000 for our local good causes since the revival in 2009.
As always, there will be some new attractions. This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the Historic Jaguar E-type, so come along and see an example of every model of that iconic car ever produced. Other anniversaries include AC and Alvis. The Engineering Village has been… well…re-engineered and will feature the Bicester and Brooklands Apprentices. There are also plans to have helicopter rides over and around the location.
A great deal has happened in the two years since the much-loved event last took place, including the arrival of many new residents. Whether you have been to the event before or if it is brand new to you, a warm welcome awaits as always. Go to www.kophillclimb.org.uk to book your tickets now! We look forward to seeing you there!
