A BRAND NEW EVENT FOR 2022!
Saturday 28th May
Taking place in Thame Town Centre, promoting the independent and diverse food and drink offering available within Thame and the local area. The event will feature a trail map that encourages participants to move between venues in Thame Town Centre, experiencing new tastes, attending behind the scenes workshops and watching live demonstrations. Alongside this there will be a street food market, the ‘Buttermarket Banquet’, competitions, a raffle raising funds for Thame Food Bank and the opportunity to sample menus that feature local produce for one day only – brought to you by many of our high-street food and drink businesses.
The Thame Carnival
Saturday 4th June from 12pm – 4.30pm
If you have missed Thame Carnival as much as we have, then you can look forward to its return in 2022 with a ‘Queens Platinum Jubilee’ theme. The town centre streets will be lined with people watching the procession of floats as it start from Elm’s park and process through Thame Town Centre, ending at Southern Road Recreation Ground for a traditional Summer Fete. Including live entertainment, food & drink, a big bouncy castle, egg throwing, Pimm’s Tent, children’s Rides … and lots more activities for kids and adults. All proceeds in aid of Lord Williams’s School Young Carers, Thame Guides and Thame Senior fellowship centre. Thame Music in the Park
Sunday 1st May from 11.30 – 9.30pm

Thame’s longest running music festival, offering a fantastic line-up of live music across 3 stages featuring everything from country to dance music, bands to acoustic solo acts. Held in Elms Park it is a fabulous family event, with great food and kids activities. It’s a smorgasbord of events for May / June in Thame.
The Thame Duck Race
Sunday 5th June from 11am (Gates open at 10.30am)
Join Captain Ducky and his pirate crew and see the spectacle of thousands of rubber ducks being poured into the river Thame on a race to victory! The race starts on the old town bridge, accessed via Priest End, behind St Mary’s church. Tickets are on sale for £2 per duck, which can be purchased online at: duckrace.thameroundtable.org, at Thame Carnival held the day before the race or at the start line on the day.
