As many of you will know, we cancelled our regular daily service from mid-March, in response to Government guidelines on dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.  We also stopped running outings and making the bus available for group use.

However, our bus and drivers have not been idle. We have joined with Princes Risborough Town Council in providing a delivery service from The Risborough Basket.  Every Tuesday and Friday, our bus collects items from the Risborough High Street shops taking part in the scheme, including boxes of fruit and vegetables, and we deliver them to Longwick, Saunderton Lee, Saunderton Vale, Bledlow Village, Bledlow Ridge, Lacey Green and Loosley Row, Speen and North Dean.  Soon, we hope to include Ellesborough, Butlers Cross and the Kimbles.

The delivery service is proving to be a lifeline for many people in the outlying villages and we will keep it going as long as we are needed.  Of course, we are also looking at when we might be able to get back to our normal bus service.  That might not be for some time but we will keep our passengers informed through the Chiltern View and our website www.racb.co.uk   For further information contact Debbie on 07941 963097 or email her at racb@talktalk.net
