Hello! My name is Chase; I’m a Lurcher and about 2 years old.

I arrived at Stokenchurch Dog Rescue after my owners were unable to give me the attention I needed. I am a smart and intelligent boy and have settled into kennels well but would now like to find my forever home.

I enjoy playing with my toys and will quite happily entertain myself with them. I would require basic training, but this would give my new owners a great opportunity to bond with me. If my new owners want to allow me off the lead on walks, I would require recall training before being allowed off lead in open spaces, however I am motivated by treats so owners could use high value treats coupled with positive reward based training to teach me new things including recall.

I would need to be in a home with people who have owned a dog previously and are prepared to put in some basic training but I will make a fun and active companion.

Can you offer me a loving and permanent new home?
