The Princes Centres, based in Princes Risborough and Bourne End, are National Award-winning community-run day centres providing day care services for adults of all ages with all types of disabilities and conditions.

Clients receive care and support and opportunities to socialise and have fun. Their carers benefit by having valuable respite, enabling them to get out or attend to other concerns. This service enables many vulnerable people to stay at home deferring the need for expensive full-time care in residential or nursing homes.

Transport is available if required. We provide a wide range of activities and there is often entertainment from visiting singers and bands. Occasionally visits are arranged to places of interest. Our caring staff provide basic care for those unable to care for themselves. There is a choice of hot meals at mid-day and tea, coffee, biscuits or cakes are served at other times. There is a very positive atmosphere at the centres and feedback from our clients is extremely good.

There is huge emphasis on caring and supporting people with the utmost respect & dignity, and the centre has been awarded numerous awards and recognition for the dignity and respect offered to clients, carers and visitors as well as the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
